abstract |
Improved carriers for ethylene epoxidation catalysts are provided. The carrier comprises an alumina component containing a first alumina particle portion having a particle size of at least 3 μm and up to 6 μm, and a second alumina particle portion having a particle size of at most 2 μm. An improved catalyst comprising the above described carrier and an improved process for the epoxidation of ethylene with the catalyst are also provided. |
