titleOfInvention Oxide Superconducting Wire and Manufacturing Method
abstract An oxide superconducting wire rod which can pinch magnetic flux effectively in any magnetic field application angle direction under a magnetic field application environment and ensure high superconductivity. The oxide superconducting wire 100 includes a metal substrate 110, an intermediate layer 120 formed on the metal substrate 110, and a REBaCuO-based superconducting layer 140 formed on the intermediate layer 120. RE is at least one element selected from Y, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, and Ho. In the superconducting layer 140, oxide particles containing Zr are dispersed as the magnetic flux pinning points 145, and the molar ratio y of Ba contained in the superconducting layer 140 is 1.2 + ax when the molar ratio of Zr is x. ≦ y ≦ 1.8 + ax, and 0.5 ≦ a ≦ 2.
