abstract |
The present invention provides novel packaging articles, such as food and beverage cans, wherein the novel coating composition is applied to at least a portion of the surface. In a preferred embodiment, the present coating composition comprises at least a film-forming amount of copolyester resin having a backbone comprising at least one soft segment and a plurality of hard segments. The copolyester resins preferably have a glass transition temperature of about 10 ° C to about 50 ° C. The present invention also provides a method of making a coated article. |
