abstract The method for recovering copper of the present invention uses a treatment solution preparation step of mixing a treatment solution containing copper with sulfuric acid and preparing a treatment solution containing a thiosulfate compound, and using electrolysis to remove metal copper from the treatment solution. It includes a recovery step of recovering. The method for recovering copper may recover high purity metallic copper from a solution containing copper, such as an electroless plating waste solution, so as not only to recover and recycle copper, which is valuable metal, but also to wash condensed water generated in the treatment process. It is also environmentally beneficial as it can be recycled.
