abstract |
A method is disclosed which has a low production cost to determine the coagulation time of a fluid medium such as a microfluidic passive device and blood and thus may be disposable. When it is optimized to determine blood coagulation time, it requires a minimum total blood sample (<5 μL) and is particularly suitable for INR or PT crystals, which can be used spontaneously by patients without venous puncture. Monitoring and processing means for interpreting the results are included in the external co-calculator device. A production method for manufacturing a microfluidic device is also provided. |
