abstract PURPOSE: A device for grinding glass and a method for grinding the glass using the same are provided to simultaneously clean contaminants on the surface and grinding the surface of the glass by using the device of the dual structure in which CeO2 of 30-90 % are included without supplying CeO2 slurry from the outside in a grinding process. CONSTITUTION: A device for grinding glass comprises a first coating layer and a second coating layer. The second coating layer forms a support layer. The shore A hardness of the second coating layer is 30-80. The first coating layer forms a grinding protrusion by being coated on an upper part of the support layer. The shore A hardness of the first coating layer is 70-95 and the shore D hardness is 20-60. The first and second coating layers are formed by coating and hardening a predetermined composition. The predetermined composition comprises 30-90 wt% of CeO2, 1-50 wt% of a binder resin, 1-50 wt% of a curing agent, 1-50 wt% of butadiene rubber, 1-50 wt% of a fluidic controller, and 0.1-50 wt% of a surfactant.
