abstract |
The present invention provides a method for measuring gastric acidity in mammals using 13 C labeled carbonate compounds. Specifically, the present invention is a method for measuring the gastric acidity of a mammal having the following process: (1) A predetermined dose of 13 C labeled carbonate compound is released at any time within 30 minutes after oral administration. contrasting to the exhalation of piheom mammal in piheom sample, the step of measuring the behavior of 13 CO 2 is discharged into the aerobic, and (2) the behavior of 13 CO 2 obtained in the above (1) (measured 13 CO 2 behavior) pre (3) the reference CO 2 behavior and measurement 13 CO 2 behavior obtained in (2) above, compared with the corresponding CO 2 behavior (reference CO 2 behavior) obtained for the mammal (control mammal).
