titleOfInvention | Dielectric-Reinforced Mirrors for IMD Displays |
abstract | The present disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for display devices including a dielectric stack positioned between a first electrically conductive layer and a second movable electrically conductive layer. In one aspect, the dielectric stack includes alternating dielectric layers of high and low refractive indices. By controlling the refractive index and the thickness of the layers in the dielectric stack, the states of light reflection of the display device can be reversed so that light is reflected when the movable layer is positioned proximate to the first electrically conductive layer. |
