abstract |
The present invention provides a retardation film, a polarizing plate, and a liquid crystal display device in which display quality is stable by suppressing fluctuations in retardation values, which are drawbacks of conventional cellulose retardation films. This retardation film contains a cellulose derivative and a plasticizer, and whose film thickness is 10 micrometers or more and 50 micrometers or less, Ro represented by following formula i is 30 nm or more and 100 nm or less, and is represented by following formula (ii) Rt is in the range of 100 nm or more and 300 nm or less, and S represented by the following formula (iii) is 0.002 or more and 0.030 or less.
