abstract |
Electrochemically active materials comprising a mixture or blend of two groups of particles exhibit a synergistic effect. Two groups of particles are compounds of the formula Li x H y V 3 O 8 and compounds of the formula Li x M y PO 4 , where M comprises at least one metal capable of proceeding oxidation to a higher valence state One or more transition metals. In order to obtain a synergistic effect, the particles of formula (I) and particles of formula (II) are present in an amount of 5: 95% by weight to 95: 5% by weight. |
