| abstract | PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing hydroxyapatite powder tablets is provided to be used for a synostosis material coated on the surface of an implant which is implanted in a weak bone. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing hydroxyapatite powder tablets comprises the following steps: a step (S11) of making preliminary slurry by performing a first ball-mill processing using ceramic beads to mix a solvent with a binder without using an antifoaming agent and a plasticizer for solid power made of tricalcium phosphate, a step (S13) of making the preliminary slurry into slurry by performing a second ball-mill processing using ceramic beads to mix the preliminary slurry with a binder, a step (S15) of making the slurry into a powder tablet using a spray dryer, a step (S17) of sintering the powder tablet so that the powder tablet can have an elaborate structure.
