abstract PURPOSE: Chicken jerky for dogs and a producing method thereof are provided to supplement insufficient nutrients for conventional chicken jerky, and to use a natural preservative for improving the health of dogs. CONSTITUTION: Artemisia capillaries, pine needles, and ginseng are mixed, and heated with alcohol to obtain a first material. The first material is aged for 72 hours at 24-27°C. The aged liquid material is firstly sprayed to dried chicken jerky in a ratio of 8:2. The chicken jerky with the firstly sprayed liquid material is dried. Propolis, fructo-oligosaccharide, and Lactobacillus are mixed, and alcohol is added to the mixture. The mixture is secondly sprayed to the firstly dried chicken jerky. The chicken jerky with the secondly sprayed mixture is dried for 2 hours at room temperature.
