titleOfInvention | Method of manufacturing poly(m-phenylene terephthal amide |
abstract | PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a poly m-phenylene terephthal amide composition is provided to have an excellent heat resistance and a high intensity by polymerizing m-phenylenediamine and terephthaloyl chloride at low temperature. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a poly m-phenylene terephthal amide composition includes a dissolution step which dissolves m-phenylenediamine in N-methylpyrrolidone which includes CaCl2 which is a solvent; a polymerizing step which performs a polymerization by adding terephthaloyl chloride to N-methylpyrrolidone in which the m-phenylenediamine is dissolved; and a neutralization step which performs neutralization by adding CaO after the polymerization. The m-phenylenediamine is vacuum-sublimated in 0.1-1 torr and has 99% of purity. [Reference numerals] (AA) Dissolving step; (BB) Polymerizing step; (CC) Neutralizing step |
