abstract |
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for controlling the transmit and receive power levels of mesh points operating in mesh wireless communication networks of a plurality of mesh points (MP). The power performance information of the new MP is transmitted to at least one existing MP of the mesh network. The existing MP accepts the new MP as a member of the mesh network and transmits the allowed power setting information to the new MP. The new MP adjusts its power level according to the allowable power setting information. |
