abstract |
An optical semiconductor protective material comprising a chain olefin-cyclic olefin copolymer elastomer having a chain olefin and a cyclic olefin as a polymerization component is prepared. The elastomer may be an α-chain C 2-4 olefin and a polycyclic olefin as a polymerized component, and the molar ratio of both may be α-chain C 2-4 olefin / polycyclic olefin = 80/20 to 99/1. The optical semiconductor protective material may further include an organosilicon compound having a hydrolyzable condensation group. The organosilicon compound may be a silane coupling agent having a (meth) acryloyl group. This optical semiconductor protective material 1 is suitable as a sealing material or filler 3 of a solar cell for sealing the solar cell 4. This optical semiconductor protective material has high transparency and weather resistance, has moderate elasticity, and can effectively protect an optical semiconductor. |
