The present invention relates to a method for cryopreservation of germ cells or living tissues using Antifreeze protein (AFP) derived from a microorganism of the genus Lucosporium. The AFP protein derived from Luciferidium genus microorganism according to the present invention has an excellent effect of enhancing the viability of germ cells or living tissues upon freezing, and thus can be usefully used as a composition for cryopreservation of germ cells or living tissues. |
