The present invention relates to a negative electrode having a carbon powder coated on a lithium surface, and a method of manufacturing a lithium metal secondary battery using the same. The negative electrode of the present invention includes a carbon material coating layer formed by scattering carbon powder on a lithium surface, thereby suppressing lithium dendrite formation and volume change of a cell generated in a secondary battery using a lithium metal negative electrode, and reducing lithium metal secondary. The cycle life of the battery can be significantly improved. |
