abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for detecting a quinolone resistant variant of Campylobacter in a biological sample, a primer set and kit for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) used in the method. According to the present invention, quinolones resistant mutants of C. jejuni and C. coli can be easily detected from wild type bacteria at high specificity and low cost. |
