abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing sustained-release drug-containing microparticles using a supercritical fluid, and to a method for producing a medical stent using the same. At the same time, the present invention relates to a method for producing microparticles having excellent drug content, drug release rate, particle size, and thermal properties of particles, and a method for manufacturing a medical stent using the same. Method for producing a sustained-release drug-containing microparticles using the supercritical fluid of the present invention comprises the steps of a) dissolving a paclitaxel drug and a biodegradable polymer in a solvent to obtain a polymer solution, and b) the polymer solution Injecting a supercritical fluid into the reactor and dissolving the polymer solution in the supercritical fluid; and c) releasing the mixture inside the reactor to the outside to remove the solvent and simultaneously the drug. Forming fine particles contained in the polymer material, and d) washing the fine particles with distilled water and then drying them.
