titleOfInvention | Method for washing polymerized toner and toner washed by the method |
abstract | PURPOSE: A method for washing polymerized toner is provided to obtain the environment-friendly toner with reduced bad smells by reducing a volatile organic compound material. CONSTITUTION: A method for washing polymerized toner comprises a step of washing toner particles with washing water including a host material to remove hydrophilic materials which are a guest material attached to the toner particles. The content of the host materials in the washing water is 100-1,000wtppm. The host materials comprise one or more compounds selected from alpha-cyclodextrin, beta-cyclodextrin, gamma-cyclodextrin, cyclodextrin derivatives, and cyclodextrin polymers. |
