Biological indicators can be evaluated for diagnostic, therapy-related or prognostic methods to identify phenotypes, such as conditions or disease, or stage or progression of disease. Biological indicators circulating from body fluids can be used to determine the profiling or phenotype of a physiological state. This includes nucleic acids, proteins, and circulating structures such as vesicles. Biological indicators can be used for therapeutic diagnostic purposes to select a disease, condition, disease stage, and post-treatment regimen for the stage of the condition, and can also be used to determine the therapeutic effect. These biological indicators can be circulating biological indicators including vesicles and microRNAs. |
