Rigid polyurethane foam |
abstract |
Rigid polyurethane foams include reaction products of resin compositions and isocyanate compositions. The resin composition comprises a novolac polyol having the formula (I). (I) Wherein R is an alkyl or alkylene group and the novolak polyol has an average hydroxyl functionality calculated from the weight average molecular weight of the novolak polyol divided by the chemical equivalent of the novolak polyol. The novolac polyol is present in an amount of 3 to 65 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the resin composition. |
