titleOfInvention | L-type lactic acid-producing mutant strain and method for producing lactic acid using the same |
abstract | The present invention relates to an L-type lactic acid-producing recombinant microorganism having high optical purity and a method for producing L-type lactic acid having high optical purity using the same, and more specifically, to a microorganism producing both L-type and D-type lactic acid. The present invention relates to a mutant strain obtained by knocking out a D-lactate dehydrogenase (D-LDH) gene and a method of mass-producing L-type lactic acid having high optical purity using the strain. The present invention can be usefully used for mass production of L-type lactic acid with high optical purity, which is used to prepare PLA having high thermal stability in industrial biotechnology and biopolymer. |
