titleOfInvention Feed additive compositions and the preparation of the same
abstract PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a composition for a feed additive is provided to prevent composition loss due to strong volatilization of phytoncide by the complexation of the phytoncide between inorganic compound carrier layers, and to enhance solubility in water. CONSTITUTION: A composition for a feed additive contains 5-50 parts by weight of layer modifier and 1-50 parts by weight of phytoncide based on 100 parts by weight of layered inorganic compound. The layered inorganic compound is selected from natural and synthetic layered inorganic compounds including expendable mica, hectorite, bentonite, halloysite, saponite, beidelite, montmorillonite, nontronite, vermiculite, kanemite, magadite, and kenyaite. The layer modifier contains phosphatidylcholine, lecithin, tetradecylamine, and hexadecylamine. [Reference numerals] (AA) Phytoncide(alpha pinene); (BB) Intercalation reaction; (CC) Phytoncide; (DD) Layered clay; (EE,FF) Intercalation modifier;
