abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing a porous carrier for removing carbon monoxide. In the method for preparing a metal-silica porous carrier for removing carbon monoxide according to the present invention, a metal-silica composite nanoparticle is prepared using a basic metal hydroxide, and the composite nanoparticle is crosslinked between clay layers. The crosslinked clay thus obtained is then granulated using another porous carrier, porous silica and zeolite, and an appropriate binder to complete the carbon monoxide removal porous carrier. The porous carrier for removing carbon monoxide according to the present invention exhibits an excellent removal effect, in particular for carbon monoxide.
