abstract The present invention relates to a mosquito repellent, and more particularly, to a mosquito repellent which is harmless to the human body, environmentally friendly, and which can replace the organic compound DEET. The mosquito repellent agent according to the present invention is characterized in that it contains sansol (sanshol, C16H27ON) as an active ingredient, wherein, the sansol (sanshol, C16H27ON) is used in the extract of the bark or vinegar. According to this, by using any one of crude extract, essential oils, and acidicol extracted from natural vinegar or Japanese vinegar, it is possible to implement a mosquito repellent having excellent mosquito repellent effect and harmless to the human body.
