abstract |
A substrate having at least one surface; A primary coating having a pigment volume concentration higher than a critical pigment volume concentration (“PVC”) disposed on the surface; And a transparent matte secondary coating disposed on the primary coating comprising granular polymer having a particle diameter of 0.5 micron to 30 microns at 1% to 99% by weight based on the weight of the secondary coating. Coated substrates are provided. There is also provided a method of providing a coated substrate and a method of improving the fouling resistance of coatings having PVC higher than critical PVC. |
