abstract | PURPOSE: An apparatus for efficiently improving water quality is provided to catalyze photochemical reaction and perform plasma reaction in water in real time without losing photocatalytic particle and facilities for storing water. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for improving water quality comprises an internal wall which reflects a light and a wavelength. A housing which combines the apparatus is equipped outside the apparatus. A device for generating ultraviolet radiation is in the housing. A quartz tube(301) for passing the ultraviolet radiation is equipped. Several threaded electrodes(701) are made and adhered to the outside of the quartz tube. A titanium element with an oxide film is equipped inside the quartz tube. A voltage generator for plasma is equipped as a booster(801) and connected to the threaded electrodes. The booster and the device generating ultra violet radiation are connected to a power supply by a switch. |
