titleOfInvention | Photoelectric conversion element and imaging element |
abstract | Solid-state imaging using an organic photoelectric conversion element which functions as a photoelectric conversion element having a high photoelectric conversion efficiency when applied to the photoelectric conversion element, and which has a small absolute value of dark current and exhibits good characteristics under a temperature of room temperature to 60 ° C. Provided is an element. Further, an organic photoelectric conversion element having a sufficiently small temperature dependence of performance is provided. A photoelectric conversion element comprising a pair of electrodes and a photoelectric conversion layer sandwiched between the pair of electrodes, wherein the photoelectric conversion layer is a bulk hetero layer in which a fullerene or a fullerene derivative and a p-type organic semiconductor material are mixed. The ionization potential of the layer is 5.2 eV or more and 5.6 eV or less, and at least one of the pair of electrodes includes at least one electron blocking layer between the photoelectric conversion layer and the electron blocking layer adjacent to the photoelectric conversion layer. The ionization potential of the photoelectric conversion element is larger than the ionization potential of the photoelectric conversion layer. |
