abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for increasing HMF resistance of a yeast strain comprising a Yap1 variant gene, and more particularly to a HMF (Hydroxymethylfurfural) of a yeast strain containing a Yap1 variant gene or its expression protein encoding the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 A composition for increasing resistance, a method for enhancing HMF resistance of a yeast strain using the Yap1 variant gene, a method for preparing an HMF resistant yeast strain using the Yap1 variant gene, and a HMF resistant yeast strain transformed with the Yap1 variant gene. According to the present invention, according to the present invention, Yap1 mutant genes can be used to enhance resistance to HMF, a cell growth inhibitor of yeast produced during pretreatment of woody biomass during bioethanol production. |
