A method for amplifying a nucleic acid contained in a sample, (a) a step of mixing a primer, a polymerase, and a nucleotide, which is a nucleic acid amplification substrate, for amplifying an arbitrary region of the nucleic acid and a sample containing the nucleic acid; and (b) amplifying the region by a polymerase reaction, Wherein the polymerase has an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or an amino acid sequence homologous to SEQ ID NO: 1, and the amino acid residue corresponding to the 653 position of the amino acid sequence is substituted by glutamic acid. |
