abstract The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for measuring blood glucose using electromagnetic waves, wherein the apparatus for measuring blood glucose according to the present invention includes a source unit for generating electromagnetic energy and a hole formed inside the center to insert an object to be measured to interact with the object to be measured. The sensor unit and the source unit receive the electromagnetic energy generated from the source unit through the dielectric resonator and irradiate the object under measurement, and detect the radio wave reflected from the object under measurement to determine the resonant frequency of the sensor unit. And a processing unit for calculating a change in blood glucose level of the object under measurement from changes in the resonance frequency and the reflectance of the detected radio wave.
