Fusion proteins for cancer cell proliferation inhibition and angiogenesis inhibition and anticancer compositions containing the same |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a fusion protein in which a cancer-specific antibody and an angiogenesis inhibitor are combined and a composition for treating cancer comprising the same. More specifically, the cancer-specific antibody according to the present invention is Trastuzumab or a fragment thereof, The neovascular inhibitor is a VEGF-trap. The use of the fusion protein according to the present invention is advantageous in that it can inhibit angiogenesis and cancer cell proliferation efficiently even at a lower dose than Trastuzumab or VEGF-trap, and can minimize side effects. |
