The present invention relates to a novel use relating to the anti-lipidation activity of pre- and ester-type capxanthine. The present invention is based on the fact that capxanthin contained in natural products such as red pepper, paprika, and bell pepper can inhibit precursor fat cell differentiation into fat cells and accumulation of differentiated fat cells into fat, respectively. A method of utilizing the property of inhibiting the differentiation of precursor adipocytes into adipocytes and the accumulation of fat in adipocytes by reacting the type- and ester-type capxanthin or extracts of natural products containing the same with adipocyte precursors and adipocytes, and free It provides a functional food and pharmaceutical composition that is effective in the prevention or treatment of obesity by including the extract of the type and ester type capxanthin, or a natural product containing the same. |
