titleOfInvention | Halophosphate phosphors, and white light emitting devices |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a phosphor having a sufficient luminescence intensity in a wavelength region near 490 nm as a blue (cyan) phosphor and having a high luminescence brightness in a temperature region reached during operation of an LED. Another object of the present invention is to provide a white light emitting device having improved reproducibility of a clear blue color in a white light emitting device using a high-luminance green phosphor having an emission peak wavelength of 535 nm or more. A phosphor having a chemical composition represented by the following general formula [1] has a sufficient light emission intensity in a wavelength region near 490 nm, and a white light emitting device using the phosphor improves the reproducibility of a clear blue color. (Sr, Ca) a Ba b Eu x (PO 4 ) c X d [1] C, d and x are numbers satisfying 2.7? C? 3.3, 0.9? D? 1.1 and 0.3? X? 1.2. In addition, a and b satisfies the condition that a + b = 5 - x and 0.12? b / (a + b)? 0.4. |
