abstract | The present application relates to a FrsA protein derived from Vibrio bacteria and a protein crystal structure of the IIAGlc complex thereof, a method for preparing the same, and a method for screening an inhibitor thereof. The present application provides detailed information on the enzymatic active region and activity mechanism of the FrsA protein involved in fermentation of pyruvate, and can be used for the development of new antibiotic candidates. In addition, the FrsA protein can be usefully used for bioethanol production due to its superior enzymatic activity against pyruvate. |
