abstract The present invention provides a method for selectively detecting only mutations using a PNA (Peptide Nucleic Acid) probe that specifically binds to the wild type of the codon 617 region of JAK2 (Janus Kinase 2) gene exon 14 and to a kit for use in the method. In this regard, diseases such as hyperlipidemia, essential thrombocytopenia, and idiopathic myeloid fibrosis can be examined quickly and accurately early, enabling efficient treatment due to early diagnosis.
