| abstract |
A fabric reinforced rubber article containing at least one layer of pattern coated reinforcing fabric embedded in rubber. The pattern coated reinforcing fabric contains a fabric base having a first side and a second side and is a woven, knitted or nonwoven fabric. The fabric substrate has an adhesive layer on both the first and second sides of the fabric, and has a patterned coating of tackifying material on at least the first side of the fabric overlying a portion of the adhesive layer. The fabric reinforced rubber product can be any suitable rubber product, including tires and hoses. |
