The present invention relates to an airflow adapter 200 for a breath-operated dry powder inhaler. The airflow adapter is composed of a conduit 202 having a proximal end 210 and a distal end. The proximal end allows flow of fluid from the outlet of the agglomeration preventer to the distal end of the conduit, and the airflow adapter has a respiratory induction low pressure at the distal end of the airflow adapter. And means (204, 205, 206, 210, 211, 212) for allowing air to flow from the proximal end of the adapter to the distal end of the adapter, independently of the airflow in the conduit when acting upon. |
