titleOfInvention | Process for preparing indazole-3-carboxylic acid and N- (S) -1-azabicyclo [2.2.2] oct-3-yl-lH-indazole-3-carboxamide hydrochloride salt |
abstract | The present invention relates to nicotinic α-7 receptor agonists, such as N- (S) -1-azabicyclo [2.2.2] oct-3-yl-1H-indazole-3-carboxamide hydrochloride (13). And a novel process for preparing indazole-3-carboxylic acid (2), which is a key starting material for the preparation of partial agonists. Nicotinic α-7 receptor agonists and partial agonists treat disease states associated with nicotine acetylcholine receptors, particularly in the brain, such as treatment of Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia, and other psychiatric and neurological disorders. Useful at The method is useful for preparing indazole-3-carboxylic acids on a large scale. |
