abstract | The present invention relates to a toner composition and a method of manufacturing the same, the toner composition having a sufficient charge amount even with the use of a small amount of charge control agent, excellent in colorability, and capable of obtaining a high quality image without any problem in fixability. It relates to a manufacturing method. More specifically, the present invention provides a toner composition comprising a polymerizable monomer, a colorant, a dispersion stabilizer, a charge control agent, a polymerization initiator, a hardness control agent, a wax or an external additive, wherein (1) the surface hardness of the particles is the surface of the polymer particles. Preparing a charge control agent having a higher hardness; (2) producing a polymer having a lower surface hardness of the particles than the particles of the charge control agent; (3) mixing the charge control agent and the polymer by a high speed mixer; And (4) an external step for imparting chargeability and fluidity to the toner produced by the step (3). |
