titleOfInvention | Heterogeneous hydrogen-catalyst power system |
abstract | (i) a reaction cell for catalysis of atomic hydrogen to form hydrinos, (ii) a source or catalyst of catalyst; A source of atomic hydrogen or atomic hydrogen; A source of catalyst or a reactant to form a catalyst and a source of atomic hydrogen and atomic hydrogen; one or more reactants to initiate catalysis of atomic hydrogen; And a chemical fuel mixture comprising at least two components selected from a support enabling catalysis; a power system comprising (iii) a heat system for diverting the exchange reaction to thermally regenerate fuel from the reaction product, (iv) a heat sink that receives heat from the power-generating reaction, and (v) a power conversion system. A power source and a hydride reactor for powering are provided. In embodiments, the catalytic reaction is activated or initiated and propagated by one or more chemical reactions, such as a hydride-kfride exchange reaction between the metal of the catalyst and another metal. This reaction is thermally reversible by the removal of metal vapor in back exchange. The hydrino reaction is maintained and regenerated batchwise using heat-coupled multi-cells arranged in bundles, where the cells of the cycle's power-generating phase heat up the cells of the regeneration phase. In this intermittent cell power design, the thermal power is statistically constant because the number of cells is large or the cell cycle is adjusted to achieve a constant power. In another power system embodiment, the hydrino reaction is maintained or continuously regenerated in each cell in which heat is generated. |
