Ultrasonic Transducers for Use in Fluids |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an ultrasonic transducer 110 for use in the fluid 116. The ultrasonic transducer 110 includes at least one housing 112 with at least one interior space 114, the ultrasonic transducer 110 also having at least one transformer housed within the interior space 114. A transducer core 122 is included, which includes at least one electro-acoustic transducer element 126. The housing 112 includes at least one opening 118 towards the fluid 116, wherein the opening 118 is at least partially covered by at least one sealing membrane 142. The edge of the sealing thin film 142 is sealed by at least one sealing material 164. |
