abstract |
The ductility / stiffness balance of rubber modified monovinylidene aromatic polymers, such as HIPS, can be used to produce rubber so that the rubber modified polymer has an optical crosslinking index (OCLI) <0.5 and an injection molding / compression molding (IM / CM) modulus ratio ≥ 1.3. The process comprising the step of crosslinking is increased without increasing the rubber content of the polymer and / or changing the average rubber particle size. |
