abstract |
The present invention relates to polynucleotides encoding modified luciferase polypeptides. The modified luciferase polypeptide has at least 60% amino acid sequence identity to wild type Oflophorus luciferase and comprises at least one amino acid substitution at a position corresponding to an amino acid in wild type Oflophorus luciferase of SEQ ID NO: 1. Modified luciferase polypeptides have at least one of improved luminescence, improved signal stability and improved protein stability compared to wild type Oflophorus luciferase. |
