abstract PURPOSE: A calcium fertilizer composition and a plant cultivation method using the same are provided to enhance calcium availability of calcium fertilizer by reacting calcium nitrate and malic acid under high temperature and high pressure. CONSTITUTION: A calcium fertilizer composition reaction products getting from a reaction of the malic acid and calcium nitrate under high pressure and high temperature and a binding compound of calcium and malic acid. An attaining method of reaction products comprises the following steps: adding malic acid to a mixture of water and calcium nitrate; primary heating and stirring the mixture in an autoclave at 121 deg. Celsius and 1.4 pressure(psi); and secondary heating under the same temperature and pressure condition. The calcium fertilizer composition is liquid or powder. The calcium fertilizer composition additionally includes one or more which are selected from sulfide, a wetting agent, surfactant and inorganic nutritive elements.
