Transgenic Chicken Responsive to Glucocorticoid Hormone and Method for Preparing the Same |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a transgenic chicken and a method of manufacturing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a transgenic chicken in which a GFP gene coupled with a promoter of chicken FKBP51 gene is introduced to a chicken blastocyst stage embryo (stage-X) using a recombinant lentivirus. . According to the present invention, a second generation transgenic chicken (G1) into which a promoter of the FKBP51 gene of the chicken and the GFP gene are introduced, and a manufacturing method thereof may be provided. Transformed chickens produced through the present invention offer the possibility of early identification of disease. |
