The present invention relates to a novel method for preparing an allyl carbonate compound and an optical resin composition using the same, wherein polyhydric alcohol is added to a diallyl carbonate compound obtained by first transesterification of an alkyl carbonate and an unsaturated alcohol under a catalyst and concentrated under reduced pressure distillation.
