titleOfInvention Eco-friendly high speed pickling process for manufacturing low chrome ferritic stainless steel cold rolled steel with excellent surface quality
abstract The present invention relates to a method of pickling a surface of a steel sheet at high speed in manufacturing a ferritic stainless steel cold rolled steel sheet requiring high surface quality. The present invention relates to a ferritic stainless steel cold rolled steel sheet containing not more than 14% of chromium after degreasing and annealing. A method of pickling a low chromium ferritic stainless steel cold rolled steel sheet, the method comprising: a neutral salt electrolysis step of electrolytically removing a chromium-rich scale from the surface of a steel sheet with an electrolytic solution using sodium sulfate as an electrolyte; Sulfuric acid electrolysis step of electrolytic removal of iron-rich scale with an electrolytic solution using sulfuric acid as an electrolyte; And a mixed acid immersion step of immersing in a mixed acid solution containing sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and hydrogen peroxide, and providing a high-speed pickling method of a low chromium ferritic stainless steel cold rolled steel sheet, in which the total pickling is completed within 15 to 240 seconds. According to the present invention, in the pickling of ferritic stainless steel cold rolled steel sheet, it does not contain nitric acid, thereby reducing the burden on the installation of the NOx removal facility and the denitrification facility, and further, the pickling is controlled by the hydrogen peroxide concentration and the hydrofluoric acid concentration. Since it is easy to control, it is suitable for high speed production, and the quality after pickling is also improved compared to the existing pickling method, so that it is possible to produce ferritic stainless steel cold rolled steel sheets of high quality.
