titleOfInvention | Liquid crystal display |
abstract | It is a liquid crystal display device which can suppress power consumption low, prevent generation of color breaks, and display color three-dimensional images with high accuracy. A pixel portion having at least a first display region and a second display region, a light supply portion for sequentially supplying a plurality of lights having different colors to each of the first display region and the second display region, and an optical system. Among the plurality of lights, the colors of the two lights simultaneously supplied to the first display area and the second display area are different from each other. A plurality of pairs of pixels corresponding to the right eye and the left eye are disposed in each of the first display area and the second display area. By supplying the plurality of lights to the first display area and the second display area, the first light is obtained from the pixel corresponding to the right eye, and the second light is obtained from the pixel corresponding to the left eye. By the optical system, the traveling direction of the first light is controlled to the right eye, and the traveling direction of the second light is controlled to the left eye. |
